CompTIA Network+ Certification



The ComTIA Network+ certification is designed for networking professionals and certifies your knowledge and skills in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting basic networking hardware, protocols, and services.

The Network+ certification has been integrated into other certification curriculums including the Microsoft MCSA program and it represents a valuable credential for network support professionals.

To obtain the Network+ certification you are required to pass the Network+ exam. It is also recommended that you obtain the CompTIA A+ certification and a minimum of nine months experience in network support or administration.

The Network+ exam has 85 questions and requires a minimum passing score of 554 (on a scale of 100 - 900). You are given 90 minutes to complete the exam.

Bill Bullock successfully completed his Network+ certification training using CompTIA Network+ Training by Train Signal.

Bill began his training in early August of last year, and passed his exam and became Network+ certified on September 21st, 2007.

CompTIA A+ Certification



The ComTIA A+ certification is designed for computer support professionals and certifies your knowledge and skills in computer installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventative maintenance, basic networking and more.

The CompTIA A+ certification is an entry level certification that leads to increased knowledge, increased job satisfaction, validation of achievement and better job opportunities.

To obtain the A+ certification you are required to pass the CompTIA A+ Essentials exam first and then one additional technician exam of your choice: IT Technician Exam 220-602, Remote Support Technician Exam 220-603, Depot Technician Exam 220-604.

The Essentials exam has 100 questions and requires a minimum passing score of 675 (on a scale of 100-900); the technician exams have 90 questions and require a minimum passing score of 700. You are given 90 minutes to complete each exam.
