If you are not a lucky Microsoft Windows user with Office Suite already installed on your computer, then you also probably don’t have Word, Excel or PowerPoint available. But before you shell out 100 bucks just to create a simple spreadsheet, here’s something you’ll definitely want to check out.
ThinkFree is a beta office suite that includes all three applications for free: word processor called Write, spreadsheet creator called Calc and a presentation builder called Show.
They are all web-based. A quick sign-up is required but that takes only about 60 seconds. You can create professional word documents with advanced formatting, spreadsheets with complicated formulas, and beautiful presentations with pictures. The look and feel is very similar to Microsoft Office, so if you used Microsoft products before you will have no problems using the online office suite.

All documents are initially saved on the website but you have the ability to download them to your hard drive. You can also publish the documents, share them, post them to a Blog, rename and delete them. To keep things organized, you can create folders on your WebTop, the online desktop, and store documents there.
