Free SQL 101 Training — Part 8: Data Definition Language

Mel Haynes
Welcome to Part 8 of my free SQL 101 training series covering the basics of SQL Server.

Today’s video is about Data Definition Language (DDL). You’ll learn what Data Definition Language is and the difference between DDL and DML (Data Manipulation Language). After we go over the main DDL concepts, I’ll show you some basic DDL commands.

All student files for the hands-on portion of the training are available for download here.

And again, I’d love to hear what you think of this and the previous videos, so please don’t be shy — leave me a comment with your thoughts!
