Despite some serious bumps along the way, Apple decided to announce its new product last week, the iPhone.
Here is a short description straight from the Apple website of what iPhone is, “… a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching.” All this functionality is fit neatly inside one small device.
It sounds great, but is it really? According to David Kirkpatric, Fortune, the iPhone is a far cry from what it should be. Here’s why:
Apple’s iPhone will reach record sales due to the publicity and the fact that “everyone” wants it. I hear people talking about it all the time.
Their dream is to have one device for music, internet, and phone calls, and iPhone will be able to give them just that. Am I going to get it? Maybe … in a year or two, when the upgraded, more affordable version comes out.
