Last month I told you about the 9 part video series covering Cisco CCNA - Advanced Switching that is now available on our site.
Switching is a very important part of Cisco training and therefore a huge topic on the 640-802 CCNA exam.
And what better way to master advanced switching than to see all the action on a live network managed by your CCIE certified instructor, Chris Bryant.
In less than 3 hour’s time you’ll learn about STP, VTP, VLANs, Router on a Stick, RSTP, PVST, Etherchannels and much more. If you haven’t seen them yet, check out the Advanced Switching videos now.
When you’re done with the switching videos, you can move on to Static Routing and RIP.
This new 6 part video series focuses on the essential theory and configurations that you need to be familiar with to understand static routing and the two versions of RIP.
Learn about distance vector protocol behavior including split horizon and route poisoning. RIP theory and version differences are also covered along with RIP limitations, RIP timers, show ip protocols and floating static routes.
Watch the new Cisco CCNA - Static Routing and RIP videos now.
If you find the Advanced Switching and Static Routing and RIP videos to be useful, sign up for our bi-weekly Newsletter and get more. As soon as you sign up you will get access to another 6 part series covering more Cisco CCNA topics.
But that’s not all! You will also be the first to see any new videos that we release. That’s right! You’ll get an email notification every time new videos are available to our newsletter subscribers.

These videos seem really helpful. I know that when you’re training for Cisco exams you need all the help you can get. I also highly recommend using the Cisco Learning Network; they just launched it recently. They have all sorts of resources that help with Cisco training, and it seems to be really useful for experienced IT professionals as well, just because of the breadth of the information provided.

Hi Rudy,
That’s a good question.
Our new Cisco CCNA videos cover the updated CCNA exam — 640-802.
So these new free videos — Advanced Switching and Static Routing and RIP — are taken from our updated CCNA course. You can find all the details about what’s covered in this training here:

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Sometimes, when reading all those courses you can get stuck, not understanding what they wanted to say. That’s the moment when videos come in handy, to explain visually with examples what could be hard to get when written. For rudy I want to add the fact that technology changes by the day (basics do stay the same though), introducing new terms and equipment for which, without constant care, usage and implementation would be very hard.
