Recently, I had the pleasure of attending the Windows 2008 Server product launch event in Dallas, Texas, USA.
This was one of the many free events that Microsoft offered, around the world, to educate end users, developers, and IT pros on what their new Windows 2008 Server operating system has to offer.
We had a great time and I would like to thank everyone who stopped by to talk to us at the event!
These Microsoft Windows 2008 product launch events were officially dubbed "Heroes Happen Here!", as you can see from the sign below at the Dallas event.

This event was held at the downtown Dallas convention center. You can see the well-known Dallas "ball" in the skyline below (officially, the Hyatt Regency Antares restaurant).

As you know, in Texas they do everything "BIG" and this event was no exception. There were over 2000 attendees at this conference and Train Signal was giving away free videos covering Windows 2008 Server.
These introductory videos cover the basics of Server 2008 and they’re great examples of what our new line of Windows 2008 Server Training will have to offer. Train Signal will begin releasing the new training videos in June of 2008 starting with Server 2008 Active Directory Training.
As you can guess, "free training videos" are always a big hit. Because of this, we were able to give out over 1000 videos in just 6 hours! The response was amazing!
Below, you can see the Train Signal booth and samples of our video training library.

And here is Iman, Train Signal’s Director of Sales, giving out free video training to visitors at the event.

In case you missed our events in Chicago, Dallas, and Atlanta, Train Signal will have a large booth at the upcoming Microsoft TechEd 2008 North America.
And yes, at this event we will again be giving away free videos so we hope you can make it. If not, subscribe to our newsletter and we’ll fill you in on all the action.
Back in February, we invited you to the Chicago Windows 2008 Launch event and announced our free Windows Server 2008 video training. We received a great response to the article, which is all the more reason I wanted to follow up with you on this topic and give you the latest news.
We have also been hard at work trying to get you the best how-to articles on Windows 2008 Server covering such topics as installing Windows Server 2008, creating Active Directory users and groups, installing RODC, securing your ftp and many more.
