    interesting

  • Phil H Says:

I wish I could go but it is just too far away and I used up all my vacation days. I however, will be there with you all in spirit which I feel should be adequate for me to receive all the freebies that you would give out at the convention.

  • Hi Phil,

Thanks so much for your comment!

I know that not everyone will be able to come to the event in Chicago. That is why, we will be making our Server 2008 Essentials training available to everyone — for free — at a later date.

Those coming to see us in Chicago will get their hands on our free training first, but we’ll make sure to take care of all of our loyal readers.

So keep checking in with us for your chance to score your very own copy of Windows Server 2008 Essentials training!

  • Hello Friends,

As much i would like to make it to the even in chicago unfortunately i will not be able to due to my work committments.

However like you mentioned i will greately appreciate if you could mail me
free versions of all three products.

    Thanks

  • Hi Sushil,

    Thanks for your comment!

As I mentioned in the comment above to Phil, we will be making the Server 2008 Essentials training available to everyone for free, however to get the free versions of all three 2008 Microsoft products you will have to go to one of the Microsoft events closest to you.

We are not giving away free versions of the Server 2008 software, that’s Microsoft — we only provide you with the training.

Let me know if you have any questions!

    Kasia

  • Same. I wish I could attend but previous engagements (Server deployment at one of my clients) makes it imposible for me to attend.

    Anyhow, Good Luck.

  • Cliff Meier Says:

I am attending the launch in Detroit on March 18th not the one in Chicago. Is there any way to receive your Server 2008 Essential Training Disk if I don’t attend the Chicago event?

  • Hi Cliff,

We will be making our Server 2008 Essentials training available to all of our TST readers sometime after the March 11th event.

So keep checking back for more information on how you can get your copy!

    Kasia

  • dave mackler Says:

So the only folks who can get this are those that live in Chicago. Kinda like the Bank giving away prizes for starting a new account and doing nothing for existing customers. BAh Humbug

  • Actually Dave, we will be making our Server 2008 Essentials training available to everyone — all of our loyal TST readers, including yourself.

However, those who are coming to the event in Chicago will be able to get their hands on the training first. That’s the perk for coming out to see us :)

So no, we’re not like a bank … and we’re not trying to fool you. You’ll be able to get your free training fair and square just like everyone else.

  • koshy Mathai Says:

I wish I can be in chicago that time, but can’t make it. Hopefully I can get a copy of all the stuff.

  • Thomas Doan Says:

I can’t flight to Chicago right now to get a freebies 2008 training CD. But I would definately recommend trainSignal to everyone. This is as good as you can get right out of the box. Their training materials rock!!! I enjoy it.

  • EAD Says:

I am attending the Microsoft event here in Santa Clara, CA on March 25th. I wish, I could go to Chicago and see you all TST but I have already used all my vacations.

Just keep me posted on how I can get the free training.

    Thanks and More Power!

  • Will TrainSignal be represented at the Raleigh NC event, on May 2nd or the Charlotte Event on April 8th?

Chicago is sold out, so I registered for the event in Raleigh, NC.

  • Hi John,

Unfortunately we will only be at the event here in Chicago. I know the event here sold out really fast!

Hopefully we’ll be able to do something like this again really soon, and in more places!

Thanks for your comment and don’t forget to check back in the next few weeks for more information on how you can get your free Server 2008 Essentials training.

  • William Adams Says:

Would love to attend but due to previous commitments and budget our team can not be in place. We love all the products and have done road trips to events. We would like to register for the freebies and training products…how do you folks do it?
    Thanks.

  • Paul Leuck Says:

Looking forward to using server 2008. And I always recommend Train Signal as a source of training materials. I’ve learned a lot from previous products. Good Luck!

  • Andrew Hopkins Says:

I am tied up at work but thanks for the invitation, also keep up the good training packages.

  • Ryan O'Connell Says:

    Wow…
Trainsignal training is the best and am talking from experiance as I have their Microsoft Library. It is great to see a training company that cares about the end user by giving away the Server 2008 Essentails CBT. Most of the time it seems that all you do is pay and invest in your education and it costs.

It is nice to see trainsignal give something back to users of their products and I hope trainsignal will make this offer to all their customers who have invested in their training materials world wide.

Again well trainsignal, this really shows that you care about the users of your products.

Sorry I cannot be there. Have a great time.

  • Thank you all for your comments!

We’ve received an overwhelming response to this event. We’re just as excited as you are about our new Windows Server 2008 Essentials Training and can’t wait to give it away to everyone who wants to learn the Train Signal way!

Coach Culbertson has been working very hard to make this training valuable and also fun and interesting. And we’ll make sure that everyone with a desire to learn will be able to use this training.

Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions about the training or the event, and keep the comments coming.

  • Mike Dienes Says:

Unfortunately when I went to Microsoft it was already closed for registration, what a bummer. I was looking forward to meeting you guys because your training has really helped sharpen my skills.

    Good luck and enjoy yourselves.

    Mike

  • Mazi Okay Says:

You all at Train signal are doing an excellent job.

    Keep it up.

You’ll get more exposure and more customers if you have a booth at every
    Microsoft Lunch Event.

    Thanks Again!!

  • Greg Franklin Says:

Will they be having a launch event in Las Vegas?

  • Hi Greg,

Microsoft is coming to Las Vegas on April 3rd for this event, so you still have plenty of time to register and plan. For more information go here: http://www.microsoft.com/heroeshappenhere/register/default.mspx

I will not be able to attend the training in Chicago. Please give me an opportunity to receive the free Windows Server 2008 Essentials Training CD. You are the best.

  • Adi Nugraha Says:

Too far for me, not even in the same continent, waiting for 11th of march then

  • Joe Kajane Says:

in your email you say microsoft will be launching this in 60 countries around the world. do you have a list of all those countries to see if i will be covered. secondly being outside the US obviously means i am going to miss out on this generous offer of receiving freebies from Train signal, don’t you have any provision of offering us those freebies just as complimentary offers for being train signal customers. currently i have three videos that i have benefited a lot from from train signal (CCNA, Exchange server 2003 and Linux)

  • Hi Joe,

First of all, we will be making our Server 2008 Essentials training available to everyone — in US and around the world — so you will be able to get your hands on this training for free, no matter where you are.

Those that will be coming to meet us in Chicago will get their hands on the training first, but we will make sure that anyone can get access to it.

As for the list of the 60 countries that Microsoft is including in their launch event, go to this page and select the Outside of the US? link at bottom right: http://www.microsoft.com/heroeshappenhere/register/default.mspx

  • Joe Kajane Says:

i just received an email that says “Windows Server 2008 Training, free with all orders”. i guess what this means is that the training is not free as we were made to believe. you still have to make a purchase in order to get it. i am a little bit disappointed in train signal

  • Hi Joe,

    Thank you for your comment.

I’m sorry that we’ve disappointed you … I know that our new offer is not what we initially planned.

I would like to make you aware, that we will be making this training available for download sometime in the near future. So what I’ve said in my comments above still holds true, and I hope we can make it up to you.

Please let me know if you have any other comments or questions.
