If you’re looking for a simple and smart way to organize and protect your digital life — pictures, music, videos, documents and more — look no further.
Windows Home Server is what you need!
With Windows Home Server you can connect and manage all of your home computers. Create user accounts, set permissions and easily share all your documents and digital media.
The best thing is that you can have access to your computers and your files from any PC with an Internet connection. That’s right!
With a Windows Home Server you can create a personalized Windows Live Internet address — which is basically your own web site — simply log in and access all your documents.
Here’s what Windows Home Server has to offer:
Our Windows Home Server Training will teach you all this and more! See for yourself!

I was in the initial Beta test for Home Server and I can say that for Microsoft to put out a product that is so useful in such a short period of time is amazing. I couldn’t wait for it to go RTM so I could get mine setup.
The great thing about home server was that I was able to convert a older PC with limited RAM and processor. Cost saving and efficient use of hardware! I dont know how Home Server would protect identity theft but I am all for that also! ;)
The backup/restore feature is especially useful because most home users really are negligent about their data. Home server offers both file level restores and total imaging.
More vendors are releasing products for home server including centralized virus service and more. Addons are also being released for free from several programmers. You can find a good repository at http://www.wegotserved.co.uk/ which also has dedicated hardware reviews for home server products.
All in all you should definitely get this setup unless you are a more sophisticated IT guy who has a full server setup in their home.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for your comment and for the great Home Server resource — http://www.wegotserved.co.uk/ is definitely the place to go for anyone who has a home server or is interested in getting one. I have a couple of cool home server resources to share with you as well.
MS Windows Home Server http://mswhs.com/ is a personal blog of Microsoft MVP Philip Churchill, who writes about all things relating to WHS. You and he actually have something in common, he was the beta tester for Windows Home Server as well!
Another great place is http://www.homeserverhacks.com/ authored by another MVP, Donavan West. Lots of helpful articles as well as excellent hardware and software “how to” sections that you might be particularly interested in.
And last but not least, Tom’s Ramblings of a Home Server User http://homeserverblogger.com/ has a cool “tips and tricks” section and lots of helpful resources for Home Server enthusiasts.
Talk to you soon!
